About Cochrane Australia
Cochrane is a global, independent, not-for-profit organisation. We work together to make the vast amounts of evidence generated through research useful and accessible for individuals, organisations and governments around the world. Cochrane produces trusted health information in the form of systematic reviews (published in the Cochrane Library) that are free from commercial sponsorship and other conflicts of interest.
Cochrane Australia supports contributors to Cochrane around the country, primarily by providing education and learning opportunities. We also undertake research, consultancy, advocate for evidence-informed health policies and practices, and foster local engagement with the global Cochrane network.
